So that the next generation would know His teaching ... and set their hope in God. - Psalm 78
"Disciple all the ethnicities." That's a literal translation of Christ's Great Commission, recorded in Matthew 28. Since our start in 1989, MOST Ministries has been guided by that calling, strengthened and encouraged by the promise that Jesus adds: "I am with you all the days - till the full end of the age."
That promise helps us understand the command. As God's people of faith, our work is not limited to the few years of our own lives. Our purpose is shaped by Christ's long-term perspective. We dedicate our efforts and treasures not only for the salvation of our neighbors and our children, but for our children's children, and for the generations not yet born (Psalm 78:6).
Estate planning helps make that happen. By including the work of Christ's kingdom in your estate planning, you ensure that the blessings you have received from God will continue to give Him glory into the next generation.
A bequest to MOST Ministries - large or small - will help provide the resources needed to continue the work of supporting international missionaries and churches through short-term mission teams. The gift will also set an example for your family and community of godly stewardship and faithful discipleship.
If God is leading you to support MOST Ministries through your estate and you would like assistance or more information, please contact our office (734-994-7909 or firstname.lastname@example.org). All inquiries will be handled in a confidential manner.
There are many options to consider when preparing an estate plan. Careful planning can significantly increase the amount that will be available to your heirs and the organizations you wish to support. Our staff can connect you with financial counselors at the LCMS Foundation, who will help you determine your goals and identify the best financial tools to accomplish them. Their planning services are available at no cost to you or your estate. We encourage you to also work with your attorney.
Please let us know if you decide to include MOST Ministries in your will or trust. With your permission, we would love to recognize your support. Your example of godly stewardship will help encourage others to do the same.
Thank you for considering how MOST Ministries might be included in your estate planning.
