Job Opening 

Position: Team Administrator Assistant
Supervisor: Team Administrator
Employment: 25 hours per week; possibility of moving into full time.

Support team members and churches by encouraging and equipping Christians through support services provided to teams, churches, other mission partners and staff of MOST Ministries.

  • Assist in Team mobilization
  • Provide assistance to Team Administrator
  • Manage storeroom and team supplies

General Team Administration:

  • Work closely with Team Administrator and Business Manager.
  • Effectively communicate with prospective team members, team leaders, and entities that contact the MOST Ministries Mission Center.
  • Accurately document consultation notes with hosts, churches, and team members.
  • Follow up with any special needs or circumstances to ensure team needs and wishes are met.
  • Ensure timely, accurate professional response for high level of customer service.
  • Utilize full range of software and database programs for maximum efficiency (i.e. iTravel, E-tapestry, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). 
  • Assist in host relations development.
  • Oversee the collection and storage of team supplies.

Team Mobilization:

  • Monitor team member’s individual registration forms in a timely manner and follow up as needed.
  • Process team member background checks and pastor recommendations.
  • Assist in creating team descriptions.
  • Assist with Team Leader Binders and Emergency Cards.
  • Create team packing lists with Team Administrator.
  • Gather and pack teams supplies, shipping when necessary.
  • Assist in project development, team scheduling and cost projections.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of team supplies.
  • Assist with monitoring emergency phone when team is deployed.
  • Create flight itineraries.
  • Ensure all aspects of team experiences reflect and nurture Christian discipleship.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A strong witness to Jesus Christ in word and actions.
  • Excellent organizational and office skills.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience with E-Tapestry database preferred.
  • Active member of an LCMS congregation preferred.
  • General understanding of, or experience in, short term missions environment beneficial.
  • Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Work efficiently.
  • Willingness to assist and support other ministry areas as needed.  Be flexible!
  • Work collaboratively in a team setting, consistently demonstrating the fruits of the Spirit in all interactions with colleagues, guests, and volunteers.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and occasionally use ladder in storeroom.
  • Some nights & weekends as needed.
